Adverse material definition

Adverse material means any correspondence, memorandum, report, note or other paper that reflects adversely on the character, reputation, conduct or performance of a staff member. As a matter of principle, such material may not be included in the personnel file unless it has been shown to the staff member concerned and the staff member is thereby given an opportunity to make comments thereon. It shall be handled and filed in accordance with the procedures set out below, depending upon its source.

Examples of Adverse material in a sentence

  • Adverse material or information related to alleged misconduct that is determined to be false and all such information in situations where the employee has been fully exonerated of wrongdoing will be removed from employee files.

  • Adverse material related to alleged employee misconduct that is determined to be false, and all information related to incidents of which the employee has been fully exonerated of wrong doing, will be promptly removed from the personnel file and/or supervisory file.

  • Adverse material in the file will be copied to the teacher at the time of filing.

  • Adverse material properly placed in a unit member's file and not acted upon within two (2) years may be removed upon request by the unit member unless it relates to a substantiated issue involving the abuse or sexual harassment of either a student or fellow employee or an issue involving drug abuse or alcohol abuse that has a direct impact upon job performance.

  • Adverse material related to employee misconduct or alleged misconduct which is sustained may be released if required under a Public Records request, or as otherwise required by law.

  • Adverse material properly placed in a teacher's file and not acted upon within two (2) years may be removed upon request by the teacher unless it relates to a substantiated issue involving the abuse or sexual harassment of either a student or fellow employee or an issue involving drug abuse or alcohol abuse that has a direct impact upon job performance.

  • Adverse material or information related to alleged misconduct that is determined to be false and all such information in situations where the employee has been fully exonerated of wrongdoing will be removed from personnel files.

  • Adverse material properly placed in an A & S person’s file and not acted upon within two (2) years may be removed upon request by the A & S person with the approval of the Superintendent.

  • Adverse material received from an outside law enforcement agency shall not be inserted in any departmental file, except a criminal investigation file, unless the officer has an opportunity to review, sign, receive a copy of, and attach, if the employee so chooses, comments in writing upon the adverse material.

  • Adverse material related to employee misconduct or alleged misconduct which is sustained may be released if required under a Public Records Act (PRA) request or as otherwise required by law.

Related to Adverse material

  • Adverse system impact means a negative effect that compromises the safety or reliability of the electric distribution system or materially affects the quality of electric service provided by the electric distribution company (EDC) to other customers.

  • Adverse Disclosure means any public disclosure of material non-public information, which disclosure, in the good faith judgment of the Chief Executive Officer or principal financial officer of the Company, after consultation with counsel to the Company, (i) would be required to be made in any Registration Statement or Prospectus in order for the applicable Registration Statement or Prospectus not to contain any untrue statement of a material fact or omit to state a material fact necessary to make the statements contained therein (in the case of any prospectus and any preliminary prospectus, in the light of the circumstances under which they were made) not misleading, (ii) would not be required to be made at such time if the Registration Statement were not being filed, and (iii) the Company has a bona fide business purpose for not making such information public.

  • Fissile material means the radionuclides uranium-233, uranium-235, plutonium-239, and plutonium-241, or any combination of these radionuclides. "Fissile material" means the fissile nuclides themselves, not material containing fissile nuclides. Unirradiated natural uranium and depleted uranium and natural uranium or depleted uranium, that has been irradiated in thermal reactors only, are not included in this definition. Certain exclusions from fissile material controls are provided in 10 CFR 71.15.

  • Input Material means all documents, information, representations, statements and materials provided by Customer or a third party on behalf of Customer, relating to the Services, including computer programs, data, logos, reports and specifications and inventories.

  • Course Materials means any Education content provided to Client in any media pursuant to a Schedule, including without limitation, all publications, courseware, training manuals and materials, user guides, web portals, or virtual labs provided by ConnectWise or a ConnectWise subcontractor.
