Affected tribe definition

Affected tribe or “treaty tribe” means any Indian tribe, band, nation or community in The State of Washington that is federally recognized by the United States Secretary of the Interior and that will or may be affected by the proposal.
Affected tribe means any Indian tribe, band, nation, pueblo, village, or community that the Secretary of the Interior acknowledges to exist as an Indian tribe as defined in the Federally Recognized Tribe List Act of 1994 (25 U.S.C. 479a(2)), physically located in a Gulf State.

  • Affected Transactions means (a) with respect to any Termination Event consisting of an Illegality, Tax Event or Tax Event Upon Merger, all Transactions affected by the occurrence of such Termination Event and (b) with respect to any other Termination Event, all Transactions.
