American Indian means a person who is enrolled as a member of a federally recognized American Indian tribe or band or who possesses documentation of at least one−fourth American Indian ancestry or documentation of tribal recognition as an American Indian.
South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.
South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.
Commonwealth Minister means the local Minister within the meaning of the gas pipelines access legislation of the Commonwealth;
Foreign state means a jurisdiction other than the United States, a state, or a federally recognized Indian tribe.
African American means a person having origins in any of the original peoples of Africa and who is regarded as such by the community of which this person claims to be a part.
Project Implementing Entity’s Legislation means the Charter of the Municipal Development Fund established pursuant to Decree No. 118 of the Government of Georgia dated July 23, 2005, as amended to date.
Commonwealth Entity means any government body which is subject to the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Xxx 0000 (Cth).
foreign regulatory authority means a securities commission, exchange or other securities market regulatory authority in a designated foreign jurisdiction;
School District/Public Entity means the School District/Public Entity that executes the contract.
Manufactured home community means the same as land-leased community defined in sections 335.30A and 414.28A.
home Member State means either of the following:
EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule means the EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule published by the Loan Market Association (or any successor person), as in effect from time to time.
Tax Legislation means all statutes, statutory instruments, orders, enactments, laws, by-laws, directives and regulations, whether domestic or foreign decrees, providing for or imposing any Tax.
Applicable Insurance Regulatory Authority means, when used with respect to any Insurance Subsidiary, the insurance department or similar administrative authority or agency located in (x) the state or other jurisdiction in which such Insurance Subsidiary is domiciled or (y) to the extent asserting regulatory jurisdiction over such Insurance Subsidiary, the insurance department, authority or agency in each state or other jurisdiction in which such Insurance Subsidiary is licensed, and shall include any Federal insurance regulatory department, authority or agency that may be created in the future and that asserts regulatory jurisdiction over such Insurance Subsidiary.
Mainland China means the People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan).
IWAI/ Authority/ Department/ Owner means the Inland Waterways Authority of India, which invites tenders on behalf of the Chairman, IWAI and includes therein-legal representatives, successors and assigns.
Qualified airport authority means an airport authority
PRC means the People’s Republic of China, but solely for purposes of this Agreement, excluding the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macau Special Administrative Region and Taiwan.
Commonwealth Citizen means any person who has the status of a Commonwealth citizen under the British Nationality Act 1981, not covered by the ‘UK Nationality’ definition above. This includes British Dependent Territories citizens (other than Gibraltarians), British Overseas citizens, and from 1986 those persons in the category British National (Overseas).
parent financial holding company in a Member State means a financial holding company which is not itself a subsidiary of an institution authorised in the same Member State, or of a financial holding company or mixed financial holding company set up in the same Member State;
UK Bail-in Legislation means Part I of the United Kingdom Banking Act 2009 and any other law or regulation applicable in the United Kingdom relating to the resolution of unsound or failing banks, investment firms or other financial institutions or their affiliates (otherwise than through liquidation, administration or other insolvency proceedings).
Bail-In Legislation means, with respect to any EEA Member Country implementing Article 55 of Directive 2014/59/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union, the implementing law for such EEA Member Country from time to time which is described in the EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule.
