Airway Release definition

Airway Release means any airway release (including any Existing Airway Release) agreed to be issued or caused to be issued by the Issuing Bank in accordance with the terms of the Continuing Agreement for Commercial and Standby Letters of Credit.

  • If any such tax or taxes shall be assessed or levied against any Lender or any other holder of a Note, or issuer of an L/C, Acceptance, Steamship Guarantee or Airway Release, such Lender, or such other holder or issuer, as the case may be, may notify the Borrower and make immediate payment thereof, together with interest or penalties in connection therewith, and shall thereupon be entitled to and shall receive immediate reimbursement therefor from the Borrower.

  • It is hereby understood and agreed that no Issuing Bank shall be obligated to issue any Airway Release or Steamship Guaranty unless otherwise separately agreed to in a letter of credit agreement between such Issuing Bank and any Borrower.
