Alternate Format definition

Alternate Format means any alternate approach to presenting print information to an individual with a disability. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) groups the standard alternate formats: braille, large (18 point) print, audio narration, oral presentation, and electronic file along with other aids and services for other disabilities, including sign language interpretation and sighted guide; CMS Section 1557 of the ACA outlines requirements for health plans and providers on alternative formats.

Related to Alternate Format

  • Alternate Rate means, for any day, the sum of (a) a rate per annum selected by the Administrative Agent, in its reasonable discretion based on market conditions in consultation with the Company (and any applicable Subsidiary Borrower) and the relevant Lenders, plus (b) the Applicable Margin for Eurocurrency Loans. When used in reference to any Loan, “Alternate Rate” refers to whether such Loan is bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the Alternate Rate.

  • Alternate member means a person who is qualified under Iowa Code section 148.2A to substitute for a board member who is disqualified or becomes unavailable for any other reason for a contested case hearing.   • Request for Exclusion means a Class Member’s submission of a written request to be excluded from the Class Settlement signed by the Class Member.
