Alternative Benefit definition

Alternative Benefit has the meaning given in clause 8. Benefits mean the benefits, discounts and offers provided to you and as set out in your Electricity Plan. Billing Period means the regular recurrent period for which you receive a bill from us, as set out in the Important Details or in your Electricity Plan. Building means the building or complex within which your Premises is situated. Business Customer means a person who consumes electricity who is not a Residential Customer.
Alternative Benefit has the meaning given in clause 10.2.

Preservation of CBM for an LSE allows that entity to reduce its installed generating capacity below that which may otherwise have been necessary without interconnections to meet its generation reliability requirements. The transmission transfer capability preserved as CBM is intended to be used by the LSE only in times of emergency generation deficiencies.

  • Annual Benefit means an annual sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) multiplied by the Applicable Percentage (defined below) and then reduced to the extent required: (i) under the other provisions of this Agreement; (ii) by reason of the lawful order of any regulatory agency or body having jurisdiction over the Employer; and (iii) in order for the Employer to properly comply with any and all applicable state and federal laws, including, but not limited to, income, employment and disability income tax laws (eg., FICA, FUTA, SDI).

  • Single Life Annuity means a Participant’s Grandfathered Benefit and/or 409A Benefit, as applicable, payable as an annuity in equal monthly installments over the life of the Participant, commencing as of the Payment Date and terminating in the month in which the Participant dies, with no further payments thereafter.

  • Normal Retirement Benefit means an annual benefit equal to One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and No/100 ($150,000.00) per year, payable in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. Beginning on the thirteenth month that the Normal Retirement Benefit is paid, and continuing thereafter until paid in full, the Normal Retirement Benefit shall be increased annually by three percent (3%) from the previous year’s Normal Retirement Benefit amount to account for cost of living increases.
