Amend and Resubmit definition
Amend and Resubmit. , which means the review as noted is valid, and a corrected submittal is required.
Amend and Resubmit means that the comments and/or correction are so extensive and important that the reviewer wants to see how the comments and/or corrections are resolved prior to release for fabrication and/or purchase. Fabrications and/or purchase may not commence.

In the event that a Shop Drawing is returned marked "Amend and Resubmit" or "Rejected" subsequent resubmittals for the same item shall retain the same transmittal number, but shall have an alphabetical suffix (3a, 3b, etc.).
