Application Database definition

Application Database means the tables, designs, layouts, relationships, data formats, data architecture, data model, data schema, and data structure created and used by PowerPlan in connection with the Software, or being emitted to or from the APIs, and any scripts used to load or extract data to or from the Software.
Application Database means an integrated set of files used with the Software which contain data and information for supporting the business operations of Licensee and its authorized Affiliates, including master data and associated transaction detail, system tables, and internal control information. An Application Database shall not contain more than one Third Party Database management system.
Application Database means a database that is primarily used for On-Line Transaction Processing (“OLTP”) and whose production instance is considered mission-critical for the day-to-day conduct of the Client’s business operations.

  • Access to the Application Database or its log files for purposes other than diagnosis is prohibited even if it is technically possible to access or use, except that Client’s database administrator may access to the extent necessary to enable intended usability of the Software in accordance with the Documentation.

  • If Client cannot access or extract Client Data or Hosted Data through the front-end user interface, API, Integration, report, or query, Client must notify PowerPlan prior to attempting any restricted access to the Software or Application Database and receive written approval for such access, specific to the data and time frames granted.
