Application for Progress Payment definition

Application for Progress Payment means "Proper Invoice· as defined above.
Application for Progress Payment means Contractor and/or Contractor’s monthly invoice request for payment that includes any and all portions of the Work in a Contract that have been completed and accepted by the Agency for which an invoice has not been previously submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. Progress Payments for Contractor Work approved and certified by the Contractor and Agency signature, shall be paid less deductions to pay the expenses the Agency reasonably expects to incur in correcting a deficiency set for in an Agency written finding in accordance with A.R.S. §41-2577, and retained percentage in accordance with A.R.S. §41-2576.

Examples of Application for Progress Payment in a sentence

  • The County shall process the Application for Progress Payment in accordance with the Local Government Prompt Payment Act; Florida Statutes §218.70-.80 and the Contract Documents.

  • The period covered by each Application for Progress Payment shall be one calendar month unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • The approval of any Application for Progress Payment or the disbursement of any Tenant Improvement Payment to the Contractor shall not be deemed nor constitute acceptance of defective Work or Work not in conformity with the Contract Documents.

  • Such certification shall be the Architect’s representation to the District that based upon the Architect’s Site observations in accordance with this Agreement and the data contained in the Application for Progress Payment, the Work has progressed to the point indicated and that the quality of the Work is in accordance with the terms of the Construction Contract.

  • This update is to be submitted with each Application for Progress Payment.

  • A monthly payment made by the County to the Contractor after submission of an Application for Progress Payment by Contractor and subsequent issuance of a Certificate for Payment by the County.

  • Failure to provide any of the items above shall be sufficient reason to withhold payment of the current Application for Progress Payment until delivered to the CEI or A/E or County.

  • Contractor warrants and guarantees that title to all Work, materials and equipment covered by any Application for Progress Payment, whether incorporated in the Project or not, will pass to County at the time of incorporation into the Work or payment by the County, whichever is first, free and clear of all liens, claims, security interest and encumbrances.

  • All blanks and columns in the Application for Progress Payment must be completed.

  • On or before the fifth (5th) day of each calendar month during the progress of the Work, Contractor shall submit to the Architect an itemized Application for Progress Payment for operations completed.
