Application Platform definition

Application Platform means the host system, Internet infrastructure and services platform and any other communication systems, network connections and interfacing capabilities used by Mérieux NutriSciences in order to enable the provision of a Software Application; (ii) “Software System” means, collectively, any Software Application and the related Application Dashboard and Application Platform; and (iii) “Application Dashboard” means an online user interface used to access a Software Application and organize and display Customer information generated by, uploaded to or stored within any Software System.

Application Platform means a hardware device that utilizes an operating system and which runs an Application that is authorized for download solely for the Application Platform.

Application Platform or “Platform” means SaaS Provider’s proprietary application software and/or web-site, including all modules, functions, features identified in an Order, SOW, or otherwise generally made available by SaaS Provider to its customers, and all technology resources and infrastructure (e.g., hardware, third party software, etc.) supporting the Services. The Application Platform includes all updates, releases, improvements, and corrections to the Application Platform.

Examples of Application Platform in a sentence

• Red Hat’s Open Source Assurance Program applies only to the Red Hat JBoss Middleware Software Subscription that you purchased (such as Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform in the example above) and does not apply to Supplemental JBoss Software.

• Red Hat JBoss Middleware Extended Life Cycle Support Subscriptions (“JBoss ELS”) provide limited Software Maintenance and Production Support after Red Hat’s published End of Life date for certain Red Hat JBoss Middleware product versions (e.g. Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, Red Hat JBoss Fuse Service Works, Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization) and requires a separate, active Red Hat JBoss Middleware Software Subscription for each product on a per Unit basis.

• Each Red Hat Storage for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform Subscription includes one Software Subscription to Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server and Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, which are supported solely in connection with the use of Red Hat Gluster Storage.

• For example, Software Subscriptions for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server are priced based on the number and other characteristics of Systems, Virtual Nodes or Physical Nodes (e.g. Socket-pairs, Virtual Guests, etc.) on which you install or use the Software, while Software Subscriptions for Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform are priced based on the number of Cores running that Software, in a range called a Core Band.

• Each Red Hat Storage for Red Hat OpenStack Platform Subscription includes one Software Subscription to Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server and Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, which are supported solely in connection with the use of Red Hat Gluster Storage.
