Application Software Vendor or “ASV” means a developer of Internet browser software or other software that displays or uses certificates, including but not limited to KDE, Microsoft, Mozilla Corporation, Nokia Corporation, Opera Software ASA, and Red Hat, Inc.

Examples of Application Software Vendor in a sentence

  • An Application Software Vendor is not a Relying Party when the software distributed by the Application Software Vendor merely displays information regarding a Certificate or facilitates the use of the Certificate or digital signature.

  • DigiCert may modify Certificate lifecycles for unissued Certificates as necessary to comply with requirements of: (i) the Agreement; (ii) Industry Standards; (iii) DigiCert’s auditors; or (iv) an Application Software Vendor.

  • Any Certificates trusted by Application Software Vendors are subject to all applicable Industry Standards requirements, including those found in applicable Application Software Vendor root store policies and the CPS, regardless of how the Certificates are used.

  • WoSign shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless each Application Software Vendor for any and all claims, damages, and losses suffered by such Application Software Vendor related to a Certificate issued by WoSign, regardless of the cause of action or legal theory involved.

  • QuoVadis may modify Certificate lifecycles for unissued Certificates as necessary to comply with requirements of: (i) the Agreement; (ii) Industry Standards; (iii) QuoVadis’s auditors; or (iv) an Application Software Vendor.

  • Client Application means an application developed by Licensee that a) utilizes the Runtime Product, b) is installed fully on an end user’s machine, with all report processing local to that machine, and c) adds significant and primary functionality to the Runtime Product.

  • Software Update means a release of Software, in object code form, or firmware, which provides minor fixes, improvements and modifications to the Software or Equipment. Kodak software releases that are designated as updates will be identified A.B.x where the x designates the release as a Software Update.

  • Oracle Software means any software agent, application or tool that Oracle makes available to You for download specifically for purposes of facilitating Your access to, operation of, and/or use with, the Services.

  • Business Software means with respect to a Licensor, all Software to the extent Controlled by such Licensor or any of its Affiliates as of the Effective Date, which Software is reasonably required as of the Effective Date for the conduct of (i) the Agriculture Business if the Licensee is AgCo, including as listed on section (i) of Schedule Q, or (ii) the Materials Science Business if the Licensee is MatCo, including as listed on section (ii) of Schedule Q, in each case (in respect of the foregoing (i) and (ii)), only if and to the extent such Licensee and its Affiliates have not been granted a license or other rights to use such Software under the Separation Agreement or any other Ancillary Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Business Software expressly excludes any and all Excluded IP.
