Appropriate facility definition

Appropriate facility means the total confinement facility the department uses to hold and evaluate a person court-detained under chapter 71.09 RCW.

Appropriate facility means a secure facility that will secure the well- being of the person taken into emergency custody. This includes, but is not limited to, detention centers, hospitals and other medical or behavioral centers.
