ASF Member definition

ASF Member means a member of the appropriate bargaining unit as described in this Agreement. “ASF Members” shall mean all members of the appropriate bargaining unit as described in this Agreement, regardless of whether they are members of the Association.
ASF Member is defined in section 3.1.

Examples of ASF Member in a sentence

  • For purposes of this paragraph, if an ASF Member is initially hired to work one or more days during a calendar month, then that shall be deemed to be a month of anticipated service.

  • Job performance deficiencies noted in this evaluation are to be addressed in a plan for performance improvement developed by the supervisor after consultation with the ASF Member.

  • A retired ASF Member who returns to state service with optional life insurance coverage in place or who has already received a paid- up benefit is not eligible for optional spouse life coverage.

  • An ASF Member may purchase up to five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) life insurance coverage for the individual’s spouse in increments established by the Employer, subject to satisfactory evidence of insurability.

  • The Employer shall provide either an electronic or hard copy of the Agreement to each prospective new ASF Member prior to or concurrent with the date the individual receives an offer of employment.

  • An ASF Member may be required by the Employer to live in a university-related facility as a condition of employment.

  • An ASF Member may change their health or dental plan if the ASF Member changes to a new permanent work or residence location and the ASF Member's current plan is no longer available.

  • If the employee has family coverage and if the new residence location is outside of the current plan's service area, the ASF Member shall be permitted to switch to a new plan administrator and new Benefit Level within thirty (30) days of the residence location change.

  • An ASF Member or retiree may also change health or dental plans in any other situation in which the Employer is required by the applicable federal or state law to allow a plan change.

  • An ASF Member who receives notification of a work location change between the end of an open enrollment period and the beginning of the next insurance year, may change their health or dental plan within thirty (30) days of the date of the relocation under the same provisions accorded during the last open enrollment period.
