Assigned duties definition

Assigned duties means those specific tasks or jobs designated by the employer for a particular position within a job classification. The term does not include the duties of a member's rank or grade that the member is not actually required to regularly perform in the position which the member occupies.
Assigned duties means a faculty member’s FLC and corresponding office hours. A faculty member may be assigned to less than a five-day per week schedule. All other professional responsibilities, such as class preparation and completion of a member’s professional responsibilities plan will be carried out at a time and place appropriate for the activity.
Assigned duties shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.

Examples of Assigned duties in a sentence

  • Assigned duties will be in accordance with the concept of the assigned classification.

  • Assigned duties which constitute work out of classification for the purpose of providing bona fide training and developmental opportunities will not be considered compensable under the terms of this Article.

  • Assigned duties which occur during lunch periods shall be assigned equitably so that each member has this duty-free lunch period as frequently as possible during the school year.

  • Assigned duties include the following: • Demonstrating problem-solving and analytical techniques and related marking (e.g. Mathematics, Chemistry), • Assist facilitating small group discussions and development of problem solving strategies (e.g. Environmental Studies, Indigenous Studies), • Assisting students in laboratory settings (e.g. Biology).

  • Assigned duties may not unreasonably increase the demands upon his time or energies, cannot be inconsistent with the position(s) he serves for the Company, and the Company acknowledges that Employee’s services hereunder shall not require the full time and attention of the Employee.

  • Assigned duties shall be of a clerical and office support nature.

  • Assigned duties shall be reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated for the classification.

Related to Assigned duties

  • Responsibilities means the responsibilities delegated to BNY under the Rule as a Foreign Custody Manager with respect to each Specified Country and each Eligible Foreign Custodian selected by BNY, as such responsibilities are more fully described in Article III of this Agreement.
