Assist Air definition

Assist Air means all air that intentionally is introduced prior to or at a Flare tip through nozzles or other hardware conveyance for the purposes including, but not limited to, protecting the design of the Flare tip, promoting turbulence for mixing or inducing air into the flame. Assist Air includes Premix Assist Air and Perimeter Assist Air. Assist Air does not include the surrounding Ambient Air.

Assist Steam includes, but is not necessarily limited to, Center Steam, lower steam, and upper steam. c. “Available for Operation” means, with respect to a Compressor within a FGRS, that the Compressor is capable of commencing the recovery of Potentially Recoverable Gas as soon as practicable but not more than one hour after the Need for a Compressor to Operate arises. The period of time, not to exceed one hour,
Assist Air means any air that is directed by a blower or a fan toward one or more Flare burners.
