Association Leave definition

Association Leave. CNA requests for employee organizational leave shall be made in writing to the CDEO/IRRM and to the affected Department at least forty-five (45) calendar days in advance of the leave. Such leaves shall be on a Leave Without Pay status from one (1) day up to thirty (30) days. CNA may have no more than two (2) employees covered herein on leave of absence to do association business. To be eligible for Organizational Leave, the employees must have a minimum of one (1) year continuous employment with the County. The requested leave shall only be granted if the reason(s) for the leave are to conduct CNA business. Requests for such leave may be approved at the discretion of management depending on operational needs of that department. This Section is not grievable.
Association Leave means leave from a school district employee's regular school responsibilities granted for that employee to spend time for association, employee association, or union duties.
Association Leave is hereby defined as leave used by an 18 Association representative at the direction of the Association 19 President or his or her designee for the conduct of 20 Association business.

  • The School Board will provide twenty (20) days to be used as Association Leave Days.

  • When the District and the Association agree to hold grievance hearings (including arbitrations) during the workday, the grievant(s) in the hearing shall be released from regular duty for the time necessary to participate in the hearing without charge to their own leave or Association Leave.
