Auction dealer definition

Auction dealer means a person who for compensation takes possession, whether through consignment or bailment or any other arrangement, of a motor vehicle owned by a motor vehi- cle dealer and offers it for sale at an auction open only to motor vehicle dealers or wholesalers.
Auction dealer means a Manufacturer-approved auction dealer under an Eligible Repurchase Program which is a guaranteed depreciation program.
Auction dealer means any natural person, partnership or corporation, either as principal or agent or employee thereof, or any other legal entity, however organized, who carries on the business of arranging, managing, sponsoring, or carrying out auctions or who employs auctioneers to conduct auctions or who advertises or holds himself or herself out as carrying on the business of auctioning a second hand good;

  • Grain dealer means a person engaged in the business of receiving, buying, exchanging, selling, or storing farm produce in this state. The term includes a farm produce trucker, grain merchandiser, or processor. The term does not include a person solely engaged in 1 of the following:

  • Wholesale dealer means any dealer who deals in, or who holds a licence under any law to deal in, as the case may be, wholesale quantities of goods, and the business and stock of a wholesale dealer shall be deemed to include the business and stocks of any retail dealer who conducts business on the same premises on which the wholesale dealer conducts his or her business; and
