Authorities of the University definition

Authorities of the University means authorities specified in section 21 of the Act and includes authorities declared by these States; and
Authorities of the University means authorities specified in section 21 of the Act and includes authorities declared by the Statutes.

  • The following shall be the Authorities of the University, namely:-(1) Board of Management;(2) Academic Council;(3) Research Council;(4) Extension Education Council;(5) Faculties including Post-graduate studies and their Board of Studies;(6) Such other bodies of the University as may be declared by the Statutes to be authorities of the University.

  • Where by the Act, of by this Statute or by the Ordinances, where no provision is made for a Chairman of the respective Authorities of the University to preside over a meeting of any University Authority, Board or Committee or when the Chairman so provided for is absent, the members present shall elect the Chairman of the meeting in accordance with this Statute.

  • teachers of the University means Professors, Readers, Lecturers and such other persons as may be appointed for imparting instruction or conducting research in the University or in any College or Institution maintained by the University and are designated as teachers by the Ordinances;

  • Governmental Authorities means any nation, government, province, state, or any entity, authority or body exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions of or pertaining to government, including any government authority, agency, department, board, commission or instrumentality of any government or any political subdivision thereof, court, tribunal, arbitrator, the governing body of any securities exchange, and self-regulatory organization, in each case having competent jurisdiction (with each of such Governmental Authorities being referred to as a “Governmental Authority”).

  • Self-Administration of Medication means the individual manages and takes his or her own medication, identifies his or her medication and the times and methods of administration, places the medication internally in or externally on his or her own body without staff assistance upon written order of a physician, and safely maintains the medication without supervision.

  • Virginia Stormwater Management Program authority or "VSMP authority" means an authority approved by the State Board after September 13, 2011, to operate a Virginia Stormwater Management Program.
