Authority Contractor definition

Authority Contractor means a person who or entity that enters into a Contract with the Authority.
Authority Contractor means such person or persons as may be authorized in writing by the SH&DB to act on its behalf under any of the SH&DB’s agreements, including this Agreement and shall include any person or persons having authority to exercise any rights or perform and fulfill any obligations of SH&DB under any of SH&DB’s agreements, including this Agreement.

  • Thereafter, at the request of Authority, Contractor shall cause its insurer to reduce or eliminate such deductibles or self-insured retentions as they may apply to Authority, its agents, officers, officials, employees and volunteers or, in lieu of such reductions or eliminations, Contractor shall procure a bond guaranteeing payment of losses and related investigations, claims administration, and defense expenses.

  • DRB Members may withdraw from the DRB upon delivery of written notice of withdrawal to the Authority, Contractor, and the other DRB Members, which notice shall specify a withdrawal date at least 28 days following the date of delivery of the notice.

  • Without extra cost to Awarding Authority, Contractor shall engage a licensed surveyor if necessary to verify boundary lines, keep within property lines, and shall be responsible for encroachments outside the project site.

  • With the approval of the Authority, Contractor may retain and use copies of such works for reference and as documentation of its experience and capabilities.

  • Should a relevant taxing authority determine a liability for past services performed by Contractor for Authority, upon notification of such fact by Authority, Contractor shall promptly remit such amount due or arrange with Authority to have the amount due withheld from future payments to Contractor under this Agreement (again, offsetting any amounts already paid by Contractor which can be applied as a credit against such liability).

  • City contractor means any person that enters into an agreement with the City to furnish products or services to or for the City.

  • Specialty contractor means a person who is licensed to conduct business as described in subsection 4 of NRS 624.215.

This definition shall govern without regard to whether or not the construction contractor is acting in fulfillment of a contract.

  • EPC Contractor means the contractor responsible for engineering, procurement and construction of the Facility, including Seller if acting as contractor, and including all subcontractors.

  • Authority ICT System means the Authority’s computing environment (consisting of hardware, software and/or telecommunications networks or equipment) used by the Authority or the Contractor in connection with the Contract which is owned by or licensed to the Authority by a third party and which interfaces with the Contractor ICT System or which is necessary for the Authority to receive the Services.

  • Sub-Contractor means the person named in the Contract for any part of the works or any person to whom any part of the contract has been sublet by the contractor with the consent in writing of the Engineer-in-charge and will include the legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns of such persons.
