Authority Note. Promulgated in accordance with R.S. 30:2001 et seq. and 2104.B. Authority Note means the promissory note evidencing the Authority Loan, executed and delivered pursuant to this Agreement, and any and all renewals, modifications, and extensions thereof.

More Definitions of Authority Note

Authority Note or “Authority Notes” means all revenue notes of the Authority authorized by and at any time Outstanding pursuant hereto and executed, issued and delivered in accordance with Sections 2.01 and 2.02 hereof.
Authority Note means the $ California School Finance Authority ([BORROWER]) Series 20 Promissory Note, issued by the Authority and dated the Issue Date.
Authority Note means the information, not a part of the rule, appearing at the beginning of a Chapter (or Subchap- ter, Article, or Part) which cites the implementing and authorizing statutes for the rules appearing in that Chapter.

  • Investment authority means the responsibility conferred by action of law or a provision of an appropriate governing instrument to make, select or change investments, review investment decisions made by others, or to provide investment advice or counsel to others;

  • Authority System means the Authority’s computing environment (consisting of hardware, software and/or telecommunications networks or equipment) used by the Authority or the Contractor in connection with this Contract which is owned by or licensed to the Authority by a third party and which interfaces with the Contractor System or which is necessary for the Authority to receive the Services.

  • Regional authority means the Director General of Foreign Trade appointed under section 6 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992) or an officer authorised by him to grant an authorisation including a duty credit scrip under the said Act.

  • Authority means any governmental, regulatory or administrative body, agency or authority, any court or judicial authority, any arbitrator, or any public, private or industry regulatory authority, whether international, national, Federal, state, or local.

  • enforcement authority means any person or body having jurisdiction to enforce or to take action under or in respect of the relevant legal requirement.

  • Purchasing Authority means the officer signing the acceptance of tender and shall include any officer who has authority to execute the relevant contract on behalf of the Purchaser.

  • Central authority means the entity designated by the United States or a foreign country described in section 102(e)(iv) to perform the functions specified in the Convention.

  • authorized authority means, in relation to any Person, transaction or event, any (a) federal, provincial, municipal or local governmental body (whether administrative, legislative, executive or otherwise), both domestic and foreign, (b) agency, authority, commission, instrumentality, regulatory body, court, central bank or other entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, taxing, regulatory or administrative powers or functions of or pertaining to government, (c) court, arbitrator, commission or body exercising judicial, quasi-judicial, administrative or similar functions, and (d) other body or entity created under the authority of or otherwise subject to the jurisdiction of any of the foregoing, including any stock or other securities exchange, in each case having jurisdiction over such Person, transaction or event.

  • Contract Authority means the Board of Supervisors or the head of the department or agency presenting the proposed contract to the Board of Supervisors.
