Automatic Location Identification definition

Automatic Location Identification or "ALI" is the automatic display at the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) of the caller's telephone number, the address/location of the telephone and supplementary emergency services information for Enhanced 911 (E911).
Automatic Location Identification. (“ALI”) means a feature that provides the caller’s telephone number, address and the names of the Emergency Response agencies that are responsible for that address.
Automatic Location Identification or “ALI” means a feature by which the service address associated with the calling party’s listed telephone number identified by ANI, as defined herein, is forwarded to the PSAP for display.
