Public Safety Answering Point. The BCCC will answer the Town’s emergency and non-emergency calls for service, 24-hours a day, seven days per week, and dispatch those calls to the appropriate public safety agencies based on the priority level of the call and in accordance with BCCC policies, procedures, and protocols.

Public Safety Answering Point. (PSAP)/ 9-1-1 means the organization that answers calls for police, fire, and emergency medical assistance that are received from persons dialing 9-1-1.
Public Safety Answering Point or PSAP as used in this Agreement refers to the Party to this Agreement that is the call answering location for 911 calls in a given area. The term is intended to incorporate any different term adopted by NENA and the Parties to describe the PSAP. In the context of this Agreement PSAP is also intended to include the Association of Public-Safety Communication Officials (APCO) term for an emergency communications center or ECC.

Customer acknowledges that PSAPs fall into three categories: (i) those that accept VoIP 9-1-1 calls with location data on 9-1-1 equipment; (ii) those that accept VoIP 9-1-1 calls without location data on administrative lines; and (iii) those that do not accept VoIP 9-1-1 calls. In the case of (iii), VoIP 9-1-1 calls are routed to the next closest PSAP that accepts VoIP 9- 1-1 calls.

  • Public Safety The Permittee shall comply with the following provisions.

  • Child Safety Never leave a child unsupervised near a pool, not even for a second. During social gatherings at or near the pool, appoint a designated adult to protect young children from pool accidents. Children must be watched closely while swimming. Do not use floatation devices as a substitute for supervision. Toys can entice young children into the pool area. When not in use, clear the pool area of all toys.

  • Public safety compliance The Hirer shall comply with all conditions and regulations made in respect of the premises by the Fire Authority, Local Authority, the Licensing Authority or otherwise, particularly in connection with any event which constitutes regulated entertainment, at which alcohol is sold or provided or which is attended by children.

  • Occupational Health & Safety (a) It is a mutual interest of the parties to promote health and safety in workplaces and to prevent and reduce the occurrence of workplace injuries and occupational diseases. The parties agree that health and safety is of the utmost importance and agree to promote health and safety and wellness throughout the organization. The employer shall provide orientation and training in health and safety to new and current employees on an ongoing basis, and employees shall attend required health and safety training sessions. Accordingly, the parties fully endorse the responsibilities of employer and employee under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, making particular reference to the following:

  • Workplace Safety The parties to this Agreement commit themselves to achieving the highest possible standards of occupational health and safety including adherence to the consultative and issue resolution processes included herein. Participation in and support for building and construction industry initiatives to improve construction industry standards in occupational health and safety will form an important part of this commitment. Observance of relevant Acts, Regulations, and Codes of Practice are the minimum level acceptable to enable employers and employees to meet their responsibilities and to work safely and follow health and safety rules in their workplace. On all sites there will be developed a site safety plan and job specific ‘job safety analysis’ to identify and manage the risks associated with work on each particular site. Such safety plan will include suitable procedures for personnel/material access, and site evacuation procedures. The Incolink Safety Handbook ‘SAFE’ (as amended) is endorsed by this Agreement as a proper guide and reference source for safety management and control of risks.
