Available for consultation means on call and available for consultation by telephone within thirty (30) minutes.
Available for consultation means an individual is capable of rendering advice, opinions, recommendations, suggestions, and counsel in evaluating a patient upon notice by the requesting physician and in accordance with the medical needs of the patient. This may be done by telemedicine or e-medicine in accordance with acceptable standards of practice.
