BA Equivalent Loans definition

BA Equivalent Loans means, in relation to a Loan by way of BA Loans, an advance in Canadian Dollars made by a Non-Acceptance Lender pursuant to Section 2.14(i).
BA Equivalent Loans shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 3.5.

  • Each Non-BA Lender will not accept Bankers' Acceptances hereunder, and shall instead from time to time make BA Equivalent Loans to the Borrower.

  • All provisions of this Agreement applicable to B/As and Lenders that accept B/As shall apply mutatis mutandis to B/A Equivalent Loans and Non B/A Lenders and, without limiting the foregoing, Advances shall include B/A Equivalent Loans.

  • Bankers' Acceptances and BA Equivalent Loans will not be issued with a maturity date later than the Maturity Date.

  • Notwithstanding any contrary provision herein, this Section shall not be construed to permit any Borrower to (i) change the currency of any Borrowing, (ii) elect an Interest Period for Eurocurrency Loans or BA Equivalent Loans that does not comply with Section 2.02(d) or (iii) convert any Borrowing to a Borrowing of a Type not available under such Borrowing.

  • No prepayment of LIBO Loans or BA Equivalent Loans shall be permitted pursuant to this SECTION 2.16 other than on the last day of an Interest Period applicable thereto, unless the applicable Borrowers reimburse the Lenders for all Breakage Costs associated therewith within five (5) Business Days of receiving a written demand for such reimbursement which sets forth the calculation of such Breakage Costs in reasonable detail.

  • Any such notice of conversion to Eurocurrency Loans outstanding in Dollars, Bankers’ Acceptances or BA Equivalent Loans shall specify the length of the initial Interest Period or Interest Periods therefor.

  • If any payment hereunder (other than payments on the Eurocurrency Loans or BA Equivalent Loans) becomes due and payable on a day other than a Business Day, the maturity of such payment shall be extended to the next succeeding Business Day, and, with respect to payments of principal, interest thereon shall be payable at the then applicable rate during such extension.

  • BA Equivalent Loan any Loan in Canadian Dollars bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the BA Rate in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.
