Basic Day definition

Basic Day. The Certified Staff’s basic day shall be eight (8) hours, inclusive of lunch. The basic day for Certified Staff who have classroom instructional activities shall consist of no more than six (6) hours of student contact time.

Examples of Basic Day in a sentence

  • Any teacher who is regularly teaching or supervising additional time beyond the five hours provided for in Section 5 (The Basic Day) below shall have the hourly salary determined on a pro-rata basis.

  • Under normal circumstances, the building hours for the Basic Day shall be from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a duty free lunch and a preparation period.

  • The time of the Basic Day will be defined by the School District by August 1st.

  • Basic Day: The basic day, exclusive of lunch, for a fulltime employee, shall be six (6) to eight (8) hours per day as annually determined by the School District prior to July 1.

  • This column is applicable to the first 120 miles comprising the Basic Day for all through freight service.

  • This column is for calculating monies due for miles run in excess of the Basic Day, i.e., 120 miles for all through freight service (except ID service), 100 miles for Locals and Work Trains.

  • The Afternoon Shift Premium shall be $2.50 per hour over the Basic Day Rate for each hour worked.

  • The term “full-time” means a quantity of time equal to both the entire Basic Day and the entire teacher duty year as defined by the school calendar adopted by the School Board.

  • In the calculation of this principle, the following shall apply: Time On Duty Basic Day hours a hours over hours Actual time.

  • S ection 1: Basic Day The basic teacher’s day (when school is in session) shall be 9 hours (flexible with teacher arriving no later than 7:30 am), inclusive of lunch.

Related to Basic Day

  • Basic Carrying Costs means, with respect to the Property, the sum of the following costs associated with the Property for the relevant Fiscal Year or payment period: (i) Taxes and (ii) Insurance Premiums.

  • Class B Servicing Fee shall have the meaning specified in Section 3.01.

  • Period Servicing Amount means, for any twelve month period with respect to each of the Shared-Loss Agreements during which the loss-sharing provisions of the applicable Shared-Loss Agreement are in effect, the product of (i) the simple average of the principal amount of Shared-Loss Loans and Shared-Loss Assets (other than the Shared-Loss Securities) (in each case as defined in the Shared-Loss Agreements), as the case may be, at the beginning of such period and at the end of such period times (ii) one percent (1%).

  • Cumulative Servicing Amount means the sum of the Period Servicing Amounts for every consecutive twelve-month period prior to and ending on the True-Up Measurement Date in respect of each of the Shared-Loss Agreements during which the loss- sharing provisions of the applicable Shared-Loss Agreement is in effect.

  • Semi-Annual Period means each period of six-months, commencing on the first day of a Fiscal Year; provided that the first such period shall begin on July 1, 2013 and end on December 31, 2013.
