Basic Transportation definition

Basic Transportation means the safe and convenient transportation of any and all pupils who are designated by DISTRICT to be transported between school and a point reasonably close to the pupils' homes. Such transportation shall be provided for each and every day that school is convened and in accordance with bus routes and schedules submitted by CONTRACTOR to DISTRICT and approved by DISTRICT.
Basic Transportation means the safe and convenient transportation of any and all pupils who are designated by SCHOOL to be transported between a point reasonably close to the pupils’ homes and the school and returned to that same point on the same day, but in no instance shall any bus be permitted to pick-up or drop-off students while on a public thoroughfare. Such transportation shall be provided for each and every day that school is convened during its regular 180 day school year and in accordance with bus routes and schedules established by SCHOOL and based on the SCHOOL funding available to provide Basic Transportation.
Basic Transportation means the safe transportation of any and all pupils who are designated by the District to be transported to and from school. Additional charges may result where loading or unloading of pupils in the designated areas are delayed due to traffic.
