Becoming a member. If you are not already a member of DFMC, you must immediately become a member after signing this document and subscribe for 500 shares at $1 per share.
Becoming a member. To become a member of the Credit Union, you must complete a Member Application and open a Share Savings Account. The basic deposit that you must maintain in your Savings Account is $5.00.

  • Class B Member means a Member holding one or more Class B Ordinary Shares.

  • Designated member means the spouse, child, grandchild, parent, brother, or sister of a deceased individual who owned an interest in a wholesaler, who is entitled to inherit the deceased individual's ownership interest in the wholesaler under the terms of the deceased individual's will, or who has otherwise been designated in writing by the deceased individual to succeed the deceased individual in the wholesaler's business, or is entitled to inherit such ownership interest under the laws of intestate succession of this state. With respect to an incapacitated individual owning an ownership interest in a wholesaler, the term means the person appointed by a court as the conservator of such individual's property. The term also includes the appointed and qualified personal representative and the testamentary trustee of a deceased individual owning an ownership interest in a wholesaler.

  • Public member means an individual who is not, and never

  • Affiliate Member means an individual who is an umpire, referee, coach or other official who is associated with the Association but who is not an Individual Member.

  • Substituted Member means a Person that is admitted as a Member to the Company pursuant to Section 12.01.

  • Officer member means a member of the Trust who is either an officer of the Trust or is to be treated as an officer by virtue of regulation 1(3) (i.e. the Chairman of the Trust or any person nominated by such a Committee for appointment as a Trust member).

  • Enlisted member means a person in an enlisted grade.

  • Tribal Member means an enrolled member of the Tribe.

  • Initial Member has the meaning set forth in the introductory paragraph.

  • Retired member means any former member receiving a retirement allowance or any former member who has filed the necessary documents for retirement benefits and is no longer contributing to the retirement system;

  • Bank Member means Standard Chartered PLC or any of its Affiliates and "Group" means all Bank Members.

  • New member means a person first employed on or after Septem- ber 1, 2005, including a former member who withdrew retirement contributions under Government Code 822.003 and is reemployed on or after September 1, 2005.

  • Preferred Member means a Member holding Preferred Units.

  • Related member means a person that, with respect to the taxpayer during all or any portion of the taxable year, is either a related entity, a component member as defined in section 1563(b) of the Internal Revenue Code, or a person to or from whom there is attribution of stock ownership in accordance with section 1563(e) of the Internal Revenue Code except, for purposes of determining whether a person is a related member under this division, "twenty per cent" shall be substituted for "5 percent" wherever "5 percent" appears in section 1563(e) of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Bankrupt Member means any member (a) that (i) makes an assignment for the benefit of creditors; (ii) files a voluntary petition in bankruptcy; (iii) is adjudged a bankrupt or insolvent, or has entered against such Member an order for relief, in any bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings; (iv) files a petition or answer seeking for the Member any reorganization, arrangement, composition, readjustment, liquidation, dissolution or similar relief under any statute, law or regulation; (v) files an answer or other pleading admitting or failing to contest the material allegations of a petition filed against the Member in any proceeding of the type described in subclauses (i) through (iv) of this clause (a); or (vi) seeks, consents to, or acquiesces in the appointment of a trustee, receiver or liquidator of the Member or of all or any substantial part of the Member's properties; or (b) against which, a proceeding seeking reorganization, arrangement, composition, readjustment, liquidation, dissolution, or similar relief under any statute, law or regulation has been commenced and one hundred twenty (120) days have expired without dismissal thereof or with respect to which, without the Member's consent or acquiescence, a trustee, receiver or liquidator of the Member or of all or any substantial part of the Member's properties has been appointed and ninety (90) days have expired without the appointment having been vacated or stayed, or ninety (90) days have expired after the date of expiration of a stay, if the appointment has not previously been vacated. The foregoing is intended to and shall supersede and replace the events of bankruptcy described in Sections 18-304(a) and (b) of the Act.

  • Lead Member shall, in the case of a joint venture, mean the member of such joint venture who shall have the authority to bind the contractor and each member of the Joint venture; and shall be deemed to be the Contractor for the purposes of this Agreement; the Lead Member shall itself undertake and perform at least 51% (fifty one per cent) of the total length of the Project Highway;
