Prudent Electrical Practices means those practices, methods and acts that would be implemented and followed by prudent operators of electric energy generating facilities in the Western United States, similar to the Facility, during the relevant time period, which practices, methods and acts, in the exercise of prudent and responsible professional judgment in the light of the facts known at the time the decision was made, could reasonably have been expected to accomplish the desired result consistent with good business practices, reliability and safety. Prudent Electrical Practices shall include, at a minimum, those professionally responsible practices, methods and acts described in the preceding sentence that comply with manufacturers’ warranties, restrictions in this Agreement, and the requirements of Governmental Authorities, WECC standards, the CAISO and Laws. Unethical practice means any activity on the part of bidder, which try to circumvent tender process in any way. Unsolicited offering of discounts, reduction in financial bid amount, upward revision of quality of goods etc after opening of first bid will be treated as unethical practice.
Good Clinical Practices means the FDA’s standards for the design, conduct, performance, monitoring, auditing, recording, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials contained in 21 C.F.R. Part 50, 54, 56, 312, 314, 320, 812, and 814 and (ii) “Good Laboratory Practices” means the FDA’s standards for conducting non-clinical laboratory studies contained in 21 C.F.R. Part 58.
pre-commercial procurement means the procurement of research and development services involving risk-benefit sharing under market conditions, and competitive development in phases, where there is a clear separation of the research and development services procured from the deployment of commercial volumes of end-products;
Good Clinical Practice or “GCP” means the then current standards for clinical trials for pharmaceuticals, as set forth in the ICH guidelines and applicable regulations promulgated thereunder, as amended from time to time, and such standards of good clinical practice as are required by the European Union and other organizations and governmental agencies in countries in which a Licensed Product is intended to be sold to the extent such standards are not less stringent than the ICH guidelines.

Prudent Industry Practices are not intended to be limited to optimum practices, methods or acts, to the exclusion of all others, but rather represent a spectrum of possible practices, methods and acts which could have been expected to accomplish the desired result at a commercially reasonable cost in a reliable, safe and timely fashion, in compliance with the applicable limited partnership agreement and limited liability company agreement and in accordance with all applicable laws. Prudent Industry Practices are intended to entail the same standards as the Parties would, in the prudent management of their own properties, use from time to time.
Best Industry Practice means that degree of skill, care and foresight and operating practice that would reasonably and ordinarily be expected of a skilled and competent supplier of services engaged in the same type of undertaking as that of the Recipient or any contractors (as applicable) under the same or similar circumstances as those contemplated by this Agreement.

New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.
Prudent Utility Practices means those practices, methods, techniques and standards, that are generally accepted for use in electric utility industries taking into account conditions in India, and commonly used in prudent electric utility engineering and operations to design, engineer, construct, test, operate and maintain equipment lawfully, safely, efficiently and economically as applicable to power stations of the size, service and type of the Project, and that generally conform to the manufacturers' operation and maintenance guidelines.
