Bid Meeting definition

Bid Meeting means a meeting to be conducted by Key Personnel and, at Owner’s election, Owner’s Representative, to discuss, among other things, the preparation of open bid documents related to the DPC Activities and any Bids submitted by or on behalf of Service Provider(s).

Examples of Bid Meeting in a sentence

  • Annual Initial Bid Meeting: Prior to the beginning of each school year all run/routes shall be open for bidding.

  • Drivers may sign up for such runs at each designated Bid Meeting.

  • Annual Bid Meeting: A bid meeting shall be scheduled approximately one (1) week before the first day of school for students.

  • Bus drivers will be paid for thirty (30) minutes for attending their Bid Meeting.

  • Prior to the Bid Meeting, drivers will be divided into groups of five (5) based upon their seniority (e.g., the five (5) most senior drivers will be in Group 1, the next five (5) most senior drivers in Group 2, etc.).

  • If a Bus Driver is unable to attend the Bid Meeting, the Bus Driver shall submit a written notice prior to the Bid Meeting to the Board or its designee that a proxy has been given to another Bus Driver who shall then be permitted to engage in the bidding procedures on behalf of the absent Bus Driver.

  • At least five (5) days before the start of classes each year, Bus Drivers shall attend the Bid Meeting to bid on available Route Packages and Routes.

  • Any Routes and/or Route Packages not available for bidding at the Bid Meeting shall be subject to the bidding procedures herein when such Routes and/or Route Packages become available.

  • If after the completion of the Bid Meeting, a Bus Driver becomes eligible for an assigned Route and/or Route Package, such Bus Driver shall be assigned an available Route and/or Route Package as determined appropriate by the Board or its designee.

  • Drivers must appear in person at the Bid Meeting or, in the case of an emergency or other valid excuse, have a colleague attend the Bid Meeting with his/her proxy (a driver who sends a person with his/her proxy, must ensure that the person with the driver’s proxy attends the meeting with the driver’s assigned Group).
