biomedical engineer definition

biomedical engineer means a person registered as such in terms of this Act, or regarded to be so registered in terms of section 64;
biomedical engineer means a person appointed as such having qualifications acceptable to the Institution of Biomedical Engineers as an Associate, or such other qualifications deemed by the employer to be appropriate.
biomedical engineer means an adult person employed as such who is qualified to carry out professional engineering duties as defined and is employed to apply engineering method to the solution of problems in the area of medicine and other life sciences.
