Board Hearing definition

Board Hearing means a hearing before the Board in accordance with the procedures set out in part 12 of this By-law;
Board Hearing means tha’ hear­ ing provided for in section 1878(a) of the Act (42 U.S.C. 139500(a)), and
Board Hearing means a gathering of the Board of Trustees, authorized by separate legislation, at which the Board hears testimony, views evidence, determines facts, and/or acts as in an adjudicatory capacity as a part of tribal administrative procedure.

  • An employee summoned to Jury Duty or Witness Duty, where subpoenaed in a court of law; or where subpoenaed to an Arbitration Hearing or Labour Board Hearing by the Employer; shall be paid wages amounting to the difference paid them for their services and the amount they would have earned had they worked on such days.

  • Personnel appearing in Federal Court, outside of Cincinnati and Covington, Kentucky, or the Ohio Liquor Board Hearing, Ohio Board of Nursing, and the Ohio Board of Pharmacy will retain the check issued by that agency as compensation for the appearance.

More Definitions of Board Hearing

Board Hearing means a taxpayer’s opportunity to appear, along with the Department, before the Board during a Board meeting and present oral arguments regarding issues of fact and law relevant to the taxpayer’s appeal, also referred to as an “oral hearing” or “hearing.”
