Board Level definition

Board Level. If dissatisfied with the outcome of the previously mentioned stages, any employee or an organization representing the employee may refer the grievance to the Board by arranging through the Superintendent for an appointment with the Board. The Superintendent shall prepare a review of the case for the Board. The Board shall also be given a statement from the aggrieved reviewing previous efforts to resolve the disagreements.

  • The Employer and the Union agree to establish a Board Level Training Committee for the State and Community Colleges covered by this Agreement.

  • In the event CESPA is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at the Board Level, the Union may, in its sole discretion, appeal same to arbitration by filing a copy of the written grievance and answer by the Board of Education, along with the reasons for rejecting the Board's disposal of the grievance, with the American Arbitration Association within thirty (30) days.

  • This shall be done in consultation with the Joint Board Level Elementary Staffing Committee.

  • If a dismissed employee opts for the Grievance Procedure of this Agreement, the process will be amended to begin at the Superintendent's Level and a Board Level Hearing will be inserted into the Procedure to allow the Board of Directors to deal with the matter before it may be processed to final and binding arbitration.

  • Any health and safety issue which cannot be resolved by the local level Safety Committee may be referred by mutual agreement of both parties to the Board Level Labor/Management Committee for discussion.

  • If a claim, suit or charge is filed with any state or federal agency or court, prior to the filing of a grievance and related to the grievance, the grievance shall not be processed beyond the Board Level (Level 4).

  • Board Level If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Step Three, or if the superintendent has not made a disposition within ten (10) working days of the meeting, the Formal Written Grievance shall be transmitted to the Board of Education within ten (10) working days.

  • If the Association is not satisfied with the disposition of the superintendent, or if no disposition has been received within five (5) working days of such meeting the Association may proceed to a Board Level Hearing.

  • Any grievance proceeding at the Board Level will be subject, however, to the Open Meetings Act.

  • Dismissal of probationary employees may not be grieved beyond Board Level of the Grievance Procedure.
