Bring an action definition

Bring an action means to bring a civil action under sections 701.101, 729.491, 735.29, and 743.04 of the Revised Code.
Bring an action means to bring an action for unpaid municipal services and village electric, natural gas, and similar utility services. “Certify a lien” means to certify a lien for those same services. While village utility services as identified in this analysis include electric, natural gas, and other similar services, not all of the bill’s requirements before an action can be brought or a lien can be placed appear to apply to those services. An amendment may be necessary to address this ambiguity.
