Broadcast License definition

Broadcast License means an authorization issued by the FCC for the operation of an AM or FM radio station.
Broadcast License means a license issued by the Authority to provide broadcasting services.
Broadcast License each FCC License controlled by any Mission Entity and each FCC license controlled by any Nexstar Entity, together with (a) the licenses, permits, authorizations or certificates to construct, own or operate the Stations and the Nexstar Stations granted by the FCC, and all extensions, additions and renewals thereto or thereof, and (b) the licenses, permits, authorizations or certificates which are necessary to construct, own or operate the Stations and the Nexstar Stations granted by administrative law courts or any state, county, city, town, village or other local government authority, and all extensions, additions and renewals thereto or thereof.

More Definitions of Broadcast License

Broadcast License means (a) all main broadcast television licenses granted by the FCC in connection with the television stations currently owned or hereafter acquired by the Borrower, (b) all other licenses, authorizations, or permits granted by the FCC, the Federal Aviation Administration, or any other federal, state, or local governmental authority in connection with the construction, ownership, operation, or promotion of the television stations currently owned or hereafter acquired by the Borrower, the absence of which individually or collectively could have a Material Adverse Effect, and (c) all extensions and renewals of the licenses, authorizations and permits referred to in the foregoing clauses (a) and (b).
Broadcast License means any license, permit, authorization or certificate now or hereafter held by any Borrower (including without limitation the Broadcast Licenses listed on Schedule 8.6) to construct, own, operate or program any Station that is or has been granted by the FCC or any other Governmental Body, and all extensions, additions and renewals thereto or thereof.

  • FLEGT-licensed means production and process methods, also referred to as timber production standards, and in the context of social criteria, contract performance conditions (only), as defined by a bilateral Voluntary Partnership Agreement (VPA) between the European Union and a timber- producing country under the FLEGT scheme, where both Parties have agreed to establish a system under which timber that has been produced in accordance with the relevant laws of the producing country, and other criteria stipulated by the VPA, are licensed for export by the producing country government. This may also include any timber that has been independently verified as meeting all the producing country's requirements for a FLEGT licence, where a VPA has been signed but the FLEGT licensing system is not fully operational. Evidence from a country that has not signed up to a VPA which demonstrates that all of the requirements equivalent to FLEGT-licensed timber have been met will also be acceptable. CPET will produce further guidance on FLEGT-licensed or equivalent timber in due course.
