Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) definition

Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) means where the private party designs, constructs, finances, operates and maintains an infrastructure facility owned by the private party for a specified period not exceeding thirty years, or such longer period as may be agreed, after which private party transfers the facility to the contracting authority.
Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) means the contractual arrangement under which a private entrepreneur will participate in the creation of infrastructure facilities and operating it for the contracted period and transferring the facilities to the GOU after the contracted period.
Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) means a Build-Operate-Transfer contract to build a facility; after the completion of the constructed facility, the investor shall have the right to commercially operate such facility for a fixed term; at the end of such term, the investor(s) shall transfer the facility to the Government.
