Building Official means that person, or designee, certified by the State and designated as such to administer the State Building Codes for the City.
Chief Building Official means the Chief Building Official appointed by the by-law of The Corporation of the County of Dufferin for the purposes of enforcement of the Act.
Deciding Official means the person chosen by the protestor to decide the agency protest; it may be either the Contracting Officer or the Agency Protest Official.

Building Drain means that part of the lowest horizontal piping of a drainage system which receives the discharge from soil, waste, and other drainage pipes inside the walls of the building and conveys it to the building sewer, beginning five (5) feet (1.5 meters) outside the inner face of the building wall.
