Building Period Certificate: The Certificate issued by Checkmate signifying agreement to the provision of the protection set out in Part One of the Warranty subject to any endorsements.
The current Building Regulations for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, as applicable, in force at the time the Building Period Certificate was issued for the Property Insured or Development, where applicable, and require compliance with all other statutory requirements relating to the design and construction of the Property Insured.
For the purpose of this Policy the definition Development does not include any building works other than the Residential Property(s) detailed in the Building Period Certificate.
