CAD Operator. (Existing qualifications – no change) Successful completion of any two of the following high school math classes with a grade of C or better (algebra, geometry, or trigonometry) and two years of CAD education in high school or above or equivalent experience. Initially it is expected that some waiving of educational qualifications for the existing staff assigned to the Transmission & Distribution Design (T&DD) department may be made in order to fill the new positions. After these jobs are initially filled, employees in the promotional series will be polled first to fill a vacancy in the promotional series. If there are no successful bidders from within the promotional series the vacancy will be bid per the labor agreement. It should be noted that the qualifications for Job No. BB0249 Design Draftsman and Job No. BB0248 Draftsman have changed. All existing T&DD Senior Engineering Reps listed below will be placed in the newly formed Design Draftsman positions, and the existing T&DD Engineering Reps-Step 7 listed below will be placed in the newly formed Draftsman positions, and the qualifications waived. After this initial one-time grandfathering into classifications is complete, the new qualifications will be required when filling future vacancies. 3.
