Call Transport definition

Call Transport has the meaning set forth for “transport” in 47 CFR § 51.701(c).
Call Transport is the tandem switching and transmission of terminating traffic from the tandem to the terminating carrier’s end office switch that directly serves the called party.

Examples of Call Transport in a sentence

  • If the Parties are unable to agree to a mutual initial IP, each Party, as originating Party, shall establish a single IP in the LATA for the delivery of its originated Local Traffic, ISP-Bound Traffic and IntraLATA Toll Traffic to the other Party for Call Transport and Termination by the terminating Party.
