Campaign for elective office means any activity in furtherance of an effort to influence the selection, nomination, election, or appointment of any individual to any federal, State, or local public office or office in a political organization, or the selection, nomination, or election of Presidential or Vice-Presidential electors, but does not include activities (i) relating to the support or opposition of any executive, legislative, or administrative action, (ii) relating to collective bargaining, or (iii) that are otherwise in furtherance of the person's official duties.
Elective office means an office regularly filled by vote of the people.
Nominated Company means a company selected by the Lenders’ Representative and proposed to the Authority for substituting the Concessionaire in accordance with the provisions of the Substitution Agreement;
Executive Office means such office of the Company as the Directors may from time to time determine to be the principal office of the Company.
New Directors means any director whose election by the Board or whose nomination for election by the Company's stockholders was approved by a vote of at least two-thirds of the directors then still in office who were Present Directors or New Directors.
Nominated Athlete means an Athlete who has been nominated to the NZOC by Swimming New Zealand.
Chief Executive Office means, with respect to any Person, the location from which such Person manages the main part of its business operations or other affairs.
Chief election official means the state official or body that is authorized to certify the total number of popular votes for each presidential slate;
Graduates Unavailable for Employment means the graduates who, after graduation, die, become incarcerated, are called to active military duty, are international students that leave the United States or do not have a visa allowing employment in the United States, or are continuing their education in an accredited or bureau-approved postsecondary institution.
Seattle Human Resources Director means the director of the Seattle Department of Human Resources or his or her designated management representative.
Chief elected official means a chief elected official of a unit of general local government.
shadow director means, in relation to a company, any person in accordance with whose directions or instructions the directors of the company are accustomed to act, but the person is not deemed to be a shadow director by reason only that the directors act on advice given by that person in a professional capacity; and
Relevant Nominating Body means, in respect of a benchmark or screen rate (as applicable):
Nomination means a request by a Shipper to Carrier to transport a stated quantity of Crude Petroleum on the Pipeline for the account of such Shipper in any month.
Election official means any election officer, election judge, or poll worker.
Investor Directors or “Investor Director” has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1(a) hereof.
Chairman-cum-Managing Director means Chairman-cum-Managing Director of any of the Subsidiary Companies of Coal India Limited, presently Central Coalfields Limited, Eastern Coalfields Limited, Western Coalfields Limited, Bharat Coking Coal Limited, Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited, South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Northern Coalfields Limited and Mahanadi Coalfields Limited.
Nomination Criteria means the criteria made up of the Over-Riding Nomination Criteria andthe Specific Nomination Factors, and is also referred to as “this Criteria”.
Designated Director means a person designated by the RE to ensure overall compliance with the obligations imposed under chapter IV of the PML Act and the Rules and shall include:
Designated Office(s) as to a Party, means the office or offices specified in Part II of the Schedule.
Executive Directors means a person appointed as director directly accountable to the municipal manager.
Principal officers for a corporation means the officers designated under Subsection 31A-5-203(3).
Lead Director means, at any given time, the lead, independent member (if any) elected as such by the Board and occupying such position.
Nominating Committee means the nominating committee of the board of directors of the Company established pursuant to the Articles, or any successor committee.
Nominate “Nomination,” or “Nominated” shall mean an offer by Shipper to Carrier of a stated quantity of Product for transportation, from the specified Origin to the specified Destination pursuant to the terms of this Tariff (and/or any tariffs making reference hereto and incorporating this Tariff by reference therein).
New Director means an individual whose election by the Board or nomination for election by the Company’s stockholders was approved by a vote of at least two-thirds of the directors then still in office who either were directors at the Date of Grant or whose election or nomination for election was previously so approved or recommended. However, “New Director” shall not include a director whose initial assumption of office is in connection with an actual or threatened election contest, including but not limited to a consent solicitation relating to the election of directors of the Company.
