Card Schemes definition

Card Schemes means schemes governing the issue and use of Cards listed in Schedule 6, or as may be approved and notified by us to you in writing from time to time;
Card Schemes used interchangeably with Card Brands means Visa U.S.A., Inc., Visa International, Inc., MasterCard International, Inc., Discover Financial Services or any other Card Issuer that provides Cards that are accepted by Merchant under this Agreement with HPS, including on-line debit card Transactions and on-line debit networks.
Card Schemes means Visa, Master Card, AmEx, Discover or any other similar schemes such as UnionPay;

Examples of Card Schemes in a sentence

  • Client shall be fully liable for damages resulting from incorrect use of the Service or use of the Service against the rules for use the Service or the rules of the Card Schemes or other regulations.

  • In case a transaction via the Service is already approved, but the POS terminal or Internet connection is switched off during or prior to transaction processing, for whatever reason, such transaction shall not be cleared and paid by the Card Schemes under their rules.

  • If Card Scheme Fees or any similar fees are adjusted and/or introduced by the Card Schemes or an Issuer for any reason, Elavon reserves the right to pass on any such adjustment or new fee to you pursuant to section 27(g).

  • Without prejudice to sections 17 and 18, Elavon and its Affiliates may, as permitted by the Card Scheme Rules and the Laws, disclose to the Card Schemes (i) confidential information furnished by you; and (ii) any information furnished by you that would enable the Card Schemes to determine an individual’s identity, including a Card account number.

  • In the event that you breach this representation and warranty, we may suspend the Merchant Services and/or take any steps as we (or the Card Schemes) deem necessary to remedy the breach.


More Definitions of Card Schemes

Card Schemes means Amex, MasterCard, Visa and/or any other similar schemes, in relation to which Credorax is registered as a member or otherwise authorized to process Transactions.
Card Schemes means national or payment Card Networks including but not limited to Master Card, Maestro, Visa, Diners, American Express etc. which Authenticates, Authorizes and enables card Transactions.
Card Schemes means any major Card Scheme, including but not limited to, Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay International and American Express;
Card Schemes means VISA Europe and MasterCard International.
Card Schemes means Visa Europe, Visa Inc, MasterCard Worldwide, UK Maestro, Solo and/or International Maestro and/or such other schemes governing the issue and use of Cards, as approved and notified by Us to You in writing from time to time (and "Card Scheme" shall be construed accordingly);
Card Schemes means Visa, Inc. (“Visa”), Mastercard, Inc. (“Mastercard”), American Express Company, Inc., Discover Financial Services, Inc., including any subsidiaries that operate their respective payment networks in Merchant’s region, and their Affiliates, or any other payment networks offered by Pixxles and accepted by Merchant.
Card Schemes means an entity that operates a payment card network. The main card schemes in Singapore are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and NETS.
