Case disposition definition

Case disposition means the determination of whether or not abuse or neglect has occurred or is occurring and reflects the highest report disposition in the following ranking order from highest to lowest:
Case disposition means the final judgment, adjudication, adjudication withheld, dismissal, or nolle prosequi of a case.

Examples of Case disposition in a sentence

  • Case disposition shall mean the dismissal of charges, the entering of an order of deferred prosecution, an order or result requiring a new trial, imposition of sentence or deferral of same, or dispositional continuance and any other hearing on that cause number for each case assignment.
