Cash Prize definition

Cash Prize means a monetary Prize or a gift card Prize.
Cash Prize means coin, currency, marketable security, and a similar item that can be readily redeemed or converted into legal tender. Cash prize does not include precious metal bullion, a coin of precious metal or antique coin that has a market value greater than its face value, or a merchandise gift certificate. The value of a marketable security is its cost.
Cash Prize means a monetary Prize or a cash debit card Prize.

Examples of Cash Prize in a sentence

  • A student cannot hold more than one scholarship award or benefit from any other financial assistance concurrently, excluding Cash Prize, during his/her studentship at the University of Mauritius.

  • A Cash Prize of Rs 5,000/- and a Shield will be awarded annually to the best final year student of the BSc (Hons) Communication Studies (Specialisation: Business Communication).

  • The Participation Prize and, if applicable, the Cash Prize, cannot be purchased and/or obtained in any way outside of the Tournament, and cannot be refunded, exchanged, replaced, or redeemed for any non-virtual items of any kind.

  • The Participation Prize and, if applicable, the Cash Prize, are subject to prior verification of eligibility, as well as compliance with these Rules.

  • No Participation Prize and, if applicable, the Cash Prize, substitutions or other consideration will be provided to an Entrant or the Winners, except in UDC’s sole discretion.

  • If legitimately claimed, the Participation Prize and, if applicable, the Cash Prize will be awarded.

  • No amount greater than the stated Participation Prize and, if applicable, the Cash Prize, will be awarded.

  • Entrants acknowledge and agree that his/her/their participation in the Tournament, eligibility to receive, and/or receipt of a Participation Prize and, if applicable, the Cash Prize, is contingent upon his/her/their full compliance with the Rules and conditions herein and is good, valuable, and sufficient consideration to participate in the Tournament, and to receive a Participation Prize, and, if applicable, the Cash Prize.

  • UDC reserves the right and sole discretion to substitute the Participation Prize and, if applicable, the Cash Prize, or any portion thereof of for a similar value of the Participation Prize and, if applicable, the Cash Prize, for any reason, including, without limitation, Participation Prize and, if applicable, the Cash Prize, unavailability.

  • UDC may request additional information from Winners to submit the 1099 and Winners must provide such information within five (5) business days from UDC’s request thereof in order to receive the Cash Prize.

  • Cash Proceeds means proceeds that are money, checks, deposit accounts, or the like.

  • Net Cash Proceeds with respect to any issuance or sale of Capital Stock, means the cash proceeds of such issuance or sale net of attorneys' fees, accountants' fees, underwriters' or placement agents' fees, discounts or commissions and brokerage, consultant and other fees actually incurred in connection with such issuance or sale and net of taxes paid or payable as a result thereof.

  • Cash price means the price measured in dollars at which a seller of a motor vehicle would in good faith sell to the buyer or to any other buyer under like circumstances, and the buyer would in good faith buy from the seller, the motor vehicle that is the subject matter of an installment sale contract if the sale were a sale for cash instead of an installment sale.

  • Noncash proceeds means proceeds other than cash proceeds.

  • Unrestricted Cash Amount means, as to any Person on any date of determination, the amount of (a) unrestricted Cash and Cash Equivalents of such Person whether or not held in an account pledged to the Collateral Agent and (b) Cash and Cash Equivalents of such Person restricted in favor of the Facilities (which may also include Cash and Cash Equivalents securing other Indebtedness secured by a Lien on any Collateral along with the Facilities), in each case as determined in accordance with GAAP; it being understood and agreed that proceeds subject to Escrow shall be deemed to constitute “restricted cash” for purposes of the Unrestricted Cash Amount.

  • Cash Position means the Company’s level of cash and cash equivalents.

  • Operating Cash Flow means the Company’s or a business unit’s sum of Net Income plus depreciation and amortization less capital expenditures plus changes in working capital comprised of accounts receivable, inventories, other current assets, trade accounts payable, accrued expenses, product warranty, advance payments from customers and long-term accrued expenses, determined in accordance with generally acceptable accounting principles.

  • Unrestricted Cash and Cash Equivalents means, with respect to any Person, cash and Cash Equivalents of such Person that are free and clear of all Liens and not subject to any restrictions on the use thereof to pay Indebtedness and other obligations of such Person.

  • Fair Value means, with respect to securities or any other assets, other than cash, the fair market value determined by the Board.

  • Cash Payment has the meaning set forth in Section 2.03(b)(iii) below.

  • Net Cash means (a) the sum of Tigris’ and its Subsidiaries’ cash and cash equivalents, marketable securities, accounts and interest receivable and deposits (to the extent refundable to Tigris), in each case as of the close of business on the last Business Day prior to the date of determination, determined in a manner consistent with the manner in which such items were historically determined and in accordance with Tigris’ Audited Financial Statements and Unaudited Interim Balance Sheet minus (b) the sum of Tigris’ and its Subsidiaries’ accounts payable and accrued expenses (other than accrued expenses listed below), in each case as of such date and determined in a manner consistent with the manner in which such items were historically determined and in accordance with Tigris’ Audited Financial Statements and Unaudited Interim Balance Sheet minus (c) the cash cost of any change of control payments or severance payments that are or become due to any employee of Tigris or its Subsidiaries minus (d) the cash cost of any accrued and unpaid retention payments due to any employee of Tigris or its Subsidiaries as of the Closing Date, minus (e) any remaining fees and expenses (including, but not limited to, any attorney’s, accountant’s, financial advisor’s or finder’s fees) as of such date for which Tigris or any of its Subsidiaries is liable incurred by Tigris or any of its Subsidiaries in connection with this Agreement and the Contemplated Transactions or otherwise minus (f) the fees and expenses of the Accounting Firm allocated to Tigris pursuant to Section 1.6(e), minus (g) any bona fide current liabilities payable in cash, in each case to the extent not cancelled at or prior to the Determination Date; provided that in no event shall any liabilities or accruals relating to the Legal Proceeding described on Schedule D hereto be taken into account as a reduction in Net Cash, minus (h) any unpaid amounts payable by Tigris in satisfaction of its obligations under Section 5.7(c) for the period after the Closing, plus (i) the amount of any outstanding principal and accrued interest under the Tigris Note as of the Anticipated Closing Date in excess of $3,508,750, plus (j) any amounts due to be reimbursed to Tigris by Potomac pursuant to Section 9.3(a).

  • Net Operating Cash Flow means the net cash flow to the Partnership resulting from ownership and operation of the Partnership Property, plus any other items of income received in cash by the Partnership less (i) all debts and expenses paid in the operation of the Partnership, (ii) any reserves which the General Partners deem reasonably necessary for the operation of the Partnership or for the satisfaction of obligations of the Partnership pursuant to Section 8.6, and (iii) all proceeds which are (A) received by the Partnership from the Transfer of Partnership Property, and (B) used to purchase or reserved, as determined by the General Partners in furtherance of their fiduciary duties hereunder and under the Act, for the purchase of other Partnership Property.
