Casual Leave (CL) Sample Clauses
The Casual Leave (CL) clause defines the rules and entitlements for employees to take short-term leave for unforeseen or urgent personal matters. Typically, this clause specifies the number of casual leave days allowed per year, the process for requesting such leave, and any restrictions on its use, such as not being carried forward or combined with other types of leave. Its core practical function is to provide employees with flexibility to address unexpected situations without disrupting their employment, while ensuring the employer maintains adequate staffing and operational continuity.
Casual Leave (CL). The Employee is entitled up to a maximum of 8 days per annum. CL can be availed of for any unplanned/ad-hoc need (1-2 days). For FCL, if more than two days of leave is availed, the employee needs to submit a certificate by a registered medical practitioner.
