Casual Loading definition

Casual Loading means 20% of the Basic Hourly Rate.

Examples of Casual Loading in a sentence

  • If a provision of the Act, a Regulation made under the Act, or a decision of a competent authority results in the employee being deemed to be a Full Time or a Part Time employee and, as a result the employee has been paid the Casual Loading during a period when they were deemed not to be a Casual employee, then the overpayment of that Casual Loading may be recovered from any entitlements that arise from the employee being deemed to be a Full Time or a Part Time employee.

  • If the employee is a Casual Employee the Basic Periodic Rate of Pay is determined by deducting the Default Casual Loading from the pay rate set out in this agreement.
