CEC Certification definition

CEC Certification means certification by the CEC that the Facility is an ERR and that all Energy produced by the Facility qualifies as generation from an ERR.
CEC Certification means certification by the CEC that the Generating Facility is an ERR for purposes of the RPS Legislation and that all electric energy produced by the Generating Facility qualifies as generation from an ERR for purposes of the RPS Legislation.
CEC Certification has the meaning set forth in Section 5.04 of Attachment 1.

Examples of CEC Certification in a sentence

  • Seller shall expeditiously seek CEC Certification, including promptly responding to any requests for information from the requesting authority.

  • Within thirty (30) days after the Commercial Operation Date, Seller shall file an application or other appropriate request with the CEC for CEC Certification for the Facility.

  • Within thirty (30) days after the Commercial Operation Date, Seller shall apply with the CEC for final CEC Certification and Verification.

  • Subject to the Compliance Cost Cap, Seller shall take all necessary steps including making or supporting timely filings with the CEC to obtain and maintain CEC Certification and Verification throughout the Term.

  • Seller must promptly notify Buyer and the CEC of any changes to the information included in Seller’s application for CEC Certification and Verification for the Facility.


More Definitions of CEC Certification

CEC Certification means certification by the CEC that the Facility is an ERR and that all
CEC Certification means, if applicable, the certification by the Certification Authority of the California RPS program of (i) the creation and characteristics of a REC, (ii) the qualification of a Renewable Energy Facility or a Renewable Energy Source under the California RPS program, (iii) Delivery of a REC or (iv) other compliance with the requirements of the California RPS program.
CEC Certification or “CEC Certified” means that the CEC has certified that the Project is an ERR for purposes of the California Renewable Portfolio Standard and that Energy produced by the Project qualifies as generation from an ERR consistent with CEC standards and protocols.
CEC Certification means that the CEC has certified that the Facility or, as applicable, any facility listed on Appendix G for the procurement of Replacement Energy, is an eligible renewable energy resource in accordance with Section 399.12(e) of the Public Utilities Code and the guidelines adopted by the CEC relating thereto.
CEC Certification means that the CEC has certified (or, with respect to periods before the date that is one hundred eighty (180) days following the Commercial Operation Date, that the CEC has pre-certified) that the Facility is an eligible renewable energy resource in accordance with RPS Law.
CEC Certification has the meaning set forth in Section 5.04(a)(ii) of Attachment 1. “CEC Pre-Certification” has the meaning set forth in Section 5.04(a)(i) of Attachment 1. “CEC Verification” has the meaning set forth in Section 5.04(a)(iii) of Attachment 1. “Check Meter” has the meaning set forth in Section 5.02(b) of Attachment 1.
CEC Certification means, in respect of a Project, certification of the Project as a renewable energy resource eligible for the RPS.
