Change in the Work definition

Change in the Work means an addition to, deletion from or other modification of the Work consistent with the scope and intent of the Contract.
Change in the Work means a change to the Work as provided in Article 8.
Change in the Work means the deletion, extension, increase, decrease or alteration of lines, grades, dimensions, quantities, methods, drawings, changes in the character of the work to be done or materials of the Work or part thereof, within the intended scope of the Contract.

Examples of Change in the Work in a sentence

  • The Contractor’s bid shall be itemized and segregated by labor, equipment, and materials for the various components of the Change in the Work (no aggregate labor total will be acceptable) and shall be accompanied by signed bids of any Subcontractors who shall perform any portion of the Change in the Work and of any entities who shall furnish materials or equipment for incorporation therein.

  • A written order, directing or authorizing a Change in the Work executed by the DPMC and agreed to by the Contractor (except in the case of unilateral change orders executed by DPMC) that includes all adjustments to work, compensation and/or time warranted by the Change in the Work.

  • Work that is eliminated due to a Change in the Work requested by City or Contractor for which City is entitled to a deductive adjustment in the Contract Sum.

  • Additional Work or costs due to a Change in the Work that is not described in or reasonably inferable from the Contract Documents which may be the basis for an adjustment of the Contract Sum and/or the Contract Price under the terms of the Contract Documents.

  • Change in the Work may be priced on a lump sum basis, through Unit Prices, as Force Account, or by another method documented in the executed Change Order, Unilateral Change Directive, or Minor Change in the Work.


More Definitions of Change in the Work

Change in the Work means a change in the Specifications, Plans, Progress Schedule, and other requirements for the Work which is authorized under the Contract Documents.
Change in the Work has the meaning set forth in Section 1.7.

Change in the Work or “Change Order” means a written instrument issued after the execution of this Agreement signed by the Village and Company stating a revision in the Design/Build Work and a related adjustment in the fixed Design/Build Price and/or Contract Time, if any.
Change in the Work means a change in the Work or the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, an increase or decrease in the scope of the Work, or an acceleration of time for the performance of the Work, or a change in the sequence in which the Work is to be performed.
Change in the Work. A variation, requested and agreed in accordance with Article 8, in the design, quality or quantity of the Work specified or required in Exhibit A and including without limitation:
Change in the Work means variations, modifications, additions, reductions, deletions or changes to the Work from that indicated in the Contract Documents as constituted from time to time which are not Material Changes in the Work.
