Charging Stations. Any charging station that is available (connected, publicly accessible, EMP service accessible, dedicated EV connector) or Home Charging Infrastructure or Workplace Charging Infrastructure as the case may be for DCS’s use to provide the Fleet Charging Services in the territory under this Agreement due to the contractual relationship between DCS and the respective CPO(s). Connected means that the charging station supports backend communication via communication protocols such as OCPP or proprietary protocols. Publicly accessible means that the station is positioned in a location that has no physical barriers or signage that would prevent or discourage a driver of the general public from using the station. EMP service accessible means that the CPO provides 3rd party access to its public charging stations via technical interfaces to DCS or other electric mobility providers. Dedicated EV connector means that the charging station utilizes a standard mode 3 or mode 4 connector or socket identified in IEC 62196-1. Compatible connectors include the J1772 connector (Type 1), Type 2 socketed, Type 2 cable attached, CCS Combo Type 1DC, CCS Combo Type 2 DC.

Charging Stations means the charging stations installed by the Company under this Agreement, which shall be Level II electric vehicle charging stations with dual ports; provided, however, the Company may, in its sole discretion install one or more DC fast chargers or similarly advanced technology in place of the Level II charging stations.
