Chassis Cab definition

Chassis Cab shall refer to a vehicle that consists of the cab (the driver passenger carrying compartment) and the chassis (frame, wheels, and machinery of a motor vehicle – including the vehicles engine, transmission, driveshaft, differential, and suspension), and is an incomplete vehicle that requires the addition of a Truck Body to perform its intended functions.
Chassis Cab means an incomplete vehicle, other than an incomplete trailer, with a completed occupant compartment that requires only the addition of a cargo-carrying surface, work- performing equipment or a load-bearing component to perform its intended functions. (châssis-cabine)
Chassis Cab means a chassis with the front typical of a pickup truck that is fully enclosed and allows for a body to be mounted on the rear with GVW between 4,082 kg (9,000 lbs) and 4,990 kg (11,000 lbs).

  • This inspection shall take place inside a building and on a dry Chassis Cab or Upfitted Truck at the OEM’s facility or Contractor’s place of business, as agreed to by the Authorized User.

  • Prior to completion of all Chassis Cab and Upfitted Trucks ordered, a complete pilot model inspection of one or more Chassis Cab or Upfitted Trucks shall be provided by the Contractor if requested by the Authorized User.

  • Liquidated damages, if assessed, shall be deducted from the Purchase Order price for each Chassis Cab or Upfitted Truck delivered against such Purchase Order.

  • Inspected Chassis Cab or Upfitted Trucks which do not comply with these or other requirements will be rejected.

  • Chassis Cab and Upfitted Trucks must be delivered strictly in accordance with the Contract specifications and shall be "Ready for Use", and/or as requested by the Authorized User.

  • Where Chassis Cab or Upfitted Trucks develop Chronic Failures during the warranty period, Contractor shall extend the warranty period for an equal period of time following correction of such failures, as indicated in the original warranty.
