Check Services definition

Check Services the guarantee, authorization, and collection of checks accepted at the point of sale. Corporate Payable: corporate accounts payable, processing and payment, and related data processing.
Check Services. If you elect to receive Check Services, indicate whether you are requesting Check Verification Services, Check Guarantee, Electronic Check Verification Services, or Electronic Check Guarantee Services. If you are requesting Check Services, you must execute a separate agreement with the provider. Debit: If you elect to receive on-line Debit services, you will receive access to the Debit Networks that NPC makes available. On-line Debit requires a terminal, printer and pin pad for processing. American Express: To be completed by NPC.
Check Services has the meaning set forth in Schedule 6.01(A).

Examples of Check Services in a sentence

  • Such hardware must be certified for use with the Check Services in order to be deemed compatible with the Services or otherwise included on Autobooks hardware lists.

  • The Check Services include: the receipt of mailed checks; imaging or scanning a paper check; truncation of such digital file into a substitute check; submission processing and settlement of amounts due in connect with such substitute check; and support in connection with any stop payment, bounced check, or other unsuccessful transaction completion.

  • During the term of the Agreement and for two (2) years thereafter, User shall keep and maintain accurate records of its activities and sales in connection with the Check Services.

  • User will not, and will not use the Check Services to, engage in any activity which is illegal under any applicable law.

  • The parties understand that User’s approval to use the Check Services may be subject to certain conditions, including but not limited to settlement hold times and deposit amount limitations, and such conditions may be modified from time-to-time by Autobooks in its sole discretion.

  • Autobooks and its TPSPs may perform ongoing monitoring of User’s use of the Check Services, business methods, and operations.

  • User will ensure that, with respect to User’s use of the Check Services, User’s customers know and understand that check payments will be imaged and substitute checks will be created and processed in accordance with the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act (“Check 21 Act”).

  • The terms of this Exhibit B are supplemental to those in the Agreement and along with the terms in the Agreement this Exhibit B governs User’s use of the Check Services.

  • Autobooks may immediately and without notice suspend or terminate provision of the Check Services to User if Autobooks or its TPSP discovers that User has violated any of the restrictions set forth in this Exhibit B, including but not limited to operating in or engaging in activity in a prohibited category.

  • User’s use of the Check Services will be subject to Autobooks and any applicable TPSP’s prior approval.


More Definitions of Check Services

Check Services means any one or any combination of check verification, check guarantee, electronic check conversion and check collection; provided that Check Services shall not include activities related to the processing of checks through the Federal Reserve System (other than those set forth herein) or the processing of any demand deposit account on which a check is drawn or into which a check is deposited.

Check Services means NPC Check Services, Inc., a Delaware corporation.

Related to Check Services

  • Network Services means the equipment, software, and services necessary to transmit voice, data, or video.

  • Travel Services means transportation, accommodation or other travel arrangements including, without limitation, air, rail, bus passenger transportation, hotel accommodation and car hire services.
